Urban Decay has an amazing early ’90s 90210/Baywatch vibe going on with these that makes me think of the hours and hours I spent playing with those oh, so early ’90s Barbie clothes — the same ones that my little lady now enjoys (although she says they’re “retro,” *cringe*).

I have such delighted memories of my summers from that time that I’m all about this packaging, but as exciting as it is…the powders inside these terrifically tropical compacts are all that and a bag of banana chips!

Urban Decay Beached Bronzers and 8-Hour Afterglow Highlighters

Brand new for summer and ready to bronze, these $28 urban Decay Beached Bronzers are just as stunning inside as they are out. It’s been a long time considering that I’ve seen packaging this swoon-worthy. Both the box and the compacts themselves are decorated with muted palm trees that look as though you’re checking out them through sunglasses. Ah, I can feel the ocean breeze ideal now…

So, I’m not exaggerating when I say that these are two of the best bronzers I’ve ever tried. Περίοδος. τέλος της ιστορίας.

Well, the exceptionally fine, pigmented powder feels smoother than butter, and even though these are pigmented, they’re still easy to blend and build up in layers to whatever level of bronze goddess-ness you desire. Somehow, some way, the powders are matte and luminous, and I can’t believe how natural they look on the skin.

I mean, for someone as pale as I am, I actually look like I’ve been out in the sun and kissed in all the ideal places by a healthy bronze glow, and neither Sun-Kissed norBronze leave behind the tiniest hint of orange powder.

I’m sure you’ve probably heard about the urban Decay Afterglow 8-Hour Powder Highlighters, because there’s a fierce buzz about these beauties, and with good reason. available in three uniquely glowing $26 shades, these shimmering powders have set many appeal lovers’ hearts aflutter! (Or, as I would have said in the ’90s…these powders are seriously slammin’.)

What I adore about urban Decay is that they always take risks. Although we get a “comfort zone” highlighter in the classic shade Sin, a shimmering champagne that longtime urban Decay lovers will know and recognize, we also hry two absolutely special and “outside of the box” highlighting shades.

Fireball is a warm orangey peach with what the brand describes as a “pink shift.” It looks terrific as a highlighter, but I’m all about using this appeal as a blush.

And then on the cooler end of the spectrum, Aura, an iridescent light pink, reflects slightly blue, and it’s perfection both as a highlighter and as a shadow.

Much like the Beached Bronzers, these highlighters are as smooth and finely milled as can be. All three colors go the distance and wear all day long without rubbing off and leaving bothersome shimmer all over your clothes and hands.

Surprisingly, especially after seeing Fireball and Aura in their compacts, all three of these are exceptional for day-to-day wear, either as highlighters, blushes OR shadows — or, for a casual rollerblading session along the beach. (Side note: can we start a petition to bring the ’90s rollerblading in neon clothing trend back? For real, was there anything a lot more awesome??)

ΓΙΑΤΙ? Why are so many of the best things limited edition? It’s lunacy, and it’s really annoying. Chanel Noir Pétrole eyeliner ($33) deserves a permanent position — like the Codes Subtils quad — because if you have brown eyes (and even if you don’t), it’s magic.

Glossy, smoky perfection

I recognize that it’s OTT to get this excited about eyeliners, seeing as there are so many flashier products out there in Makeupville, but I love a schmexy liner, and this one is schmexy.

The color is a little hard to describe, but I’m gonna try. It’s a super dark, hella pigmented khaki black with an essence of golden shimmer for an otherworldly finish that begs the question, “How in the Milky way did Chanel squeeze so much complexity into one little stick?” It boggles the mind. This beauty is glossy liner perfection.

Sometimes when I wear this liner, it’ll look brown. other times, more khaki. other times still, more of a glossy blackish brown. then I’ll catch a glance of myself in the mirror and see the shimmery gold winking at me, and I’ll be like totally feelin’ myself, LOL! “Who’s that girl in the mirror? Oh, ME?” This liner will have you doing that. It looks amazing on brown eyes.

I have a strong suspicion that Noir Pétrole will also enchant hazel eyes as well… I wish El Hub would let me play and put it on his lids. I’d ask, but he won’t even let me curl his luscious lashes (rude!).

The best liner formula, I swear

Noir Pétrole comes in Chanel’s waterproof Stylo Yeux formula, which you know I swear by and love to pieces. The Stylo Yeuxs are twist-up pencil liners, but they feel smooth and soft like a gel, so yay! — no tugging on those lash or water lines. They aren’t drying either. I think they feel fabulously comfy and last all day long.

Hoard it like your life depends on it

Sadly, this baby is limited edition for spring 2017. get it while you can before hoarders like your girl here snatch them all up, LOL! Whoops, did two of them just fall into my cart?

Sunshine…and rain

The first time I went to Hawaii, I couldn’t believe the weather. It would pour down rain for five minutes, and then bam! — just like that, the sun would come out. and sometimes it would rain and be sunny at the same time.

Where I live in Novato, that happens a lot. The other morning I looked out my window, and it was raining and sunny at the same time. I’ve lived here for years, and it never gets old!

What does get old, however, is the rain… I feel like it’s been raining nonstop for days. I hope it lets up tomorrow, though, because I can’t be bothered to carry an umbrella while I do my Saturday morning errands.

Για να πάρετε πραγματικά πίσω από αυτά, πρώτα, πρέπει να σας αρέσουν οι γλυκές αρωματικές λοσιόν, καθώς και να κάνω αυτή τη φορά όλο το χρόνο, θεωρώντας ότι και οι τρεις από τις λοσιόν σε σχήμα που νομοσχέδιο. Εν πάση περιπτώσει, λέω χάρη στην καλοσύνη για το Διαδίκτυο, αφού μόλις κοίταξα τους κατάλληλους κανόνες για να συμμορφωθείς όταν οι Carolers έρχονται στην πόρτα σας, καθώς και πολλοί άνθρωποι προτείνουν να λένε χάρη σε αυτά για το δώρο της μουσικής τους καθώς και τη χρήση τους μια θεραπεία, όπως τα μπισκότα ή τα καραμέλα.

τακτοποιημένο και νέο για μένα

Σε αντίθεση με τη σειρά του Unsung Heroes, η οποία διαθέτει μόνιμα προϊόντα συλλογής που έχω γνωρίσει και αγαπούσε πολύ καιρό, η τακτοποιημένη και νέα σειρά μου παρουσιάζει μόνιμα προϊόντα συλλογής που γλίστρησαν κάτω από το ραντάρ μου για λίγο, αλλά στη συνέχεια τους ανακάλυψα! – Και τώρα νομίζω ότι είναι τακτοποιημένα και νέα για μένα.

Δεν θα πω ότι οι Nars Albatross που υπογραμμίζουν το Blush είναι το πιο συναρπαστικό πουλί ομορφιάς που έχει φτάσει ποτέ πάνω από τους ωκεανούς και τα δάση. Θέλω να πω, δεν είναι ένα παγώνι ή ένα toucan.

Αρκετά ειλικρινά, ότι ο Stark White φοβίσει τα χάλια από μένα για χρόνια. “Το Albatross είναι για τα πουλιά!” Σκέφτηκα κάθε φορά που το είδα.

Έχω φορέσει αρκετά συνέπεια από τότε.

Τώρα, αν είστε μεγάλοι σε εξαιρετικά λαμπερό highlighters, ίσως θελήσετε να συνεχίσετε να πετάτε, επειδή το κιτρινωπό χρυσό albatross δεν έχει γιγαντιαία flacks της λάμψης σε αυτό. Δεν είναι μία από αυτές τις ενέργειες σκόνης, αλλά αυτός είναι ένας από τους λόγους που μου αρέσει.

Είναι πολύ λιγότερη δύναμη, αν ξέρετε τι εννοώ.

Είναι λαμπερό, ωστόσο – ακόμη περισσότερο από τα σφυρηλάτια της κλεψύδρας – αλλά δεν είναι τόσο λαμπερό όσο το Becca Shimmering Skin Pinerors. Το φινίρισμα βρίσκεται εκεί στο μεταξύ, ακριβώς εκεί στο γλυκό σημείο. Αγωνίζεται περισσότερο από αρκετό φως για να είναι αισθητή.

Το ίδιο το πρώτο πράγμα που κάνει πάντα όταν βγαίνει έξω για να εξετάσει τον κήπο στο κατάστρωμα περπατάει ακριβώς όσο και το ένα φυτό σκουός κολοκυθάκια ή ένα από τα φυτά ντομάτας καθώς και να πάρει ένα τεράστιο chomp out των πιο σημαντικών φύλλων.

Θα είναι ένα μηχανικό Marvel Akin με ένα από τα επτά θαύματα του κόσμου. Οι καρτέλες κάνουν το σχεδιασμό τοπίου, ωστόσο ο οδηγός εργασίας θα είναι ο El Hub.

Και όπως πάντα έχει μετά από μια μακρά μέρα κηπουρικής, οι καρτέλες εξακολουθούν να θέλουν να χαλαρώσουν με λίγα λεπτά από το χρόνο Meow σε ένα κουτί από χαρτόνι.
